Raw silk is the filament silk obtained from mulberry cocoons. It is considered to be the oldest and the finest fabrics across the world.
Raw silks are woven from Pure silk that are unprocessed have a nubby and rougher surface. The fibre used to make raw silk is shorter which contributes to its unique texture.
Adorned with emerald green, gold and deep red pallu, this Green and Red - double body (patali pallu) raw silk with huge temples on the bottom border is a treasure to wear.. This exquisite saree is weaved by a master weaver in West Bengal.
