Raw silk is the filament silk obtained from mulberry cocoons. It is considered to be the oldest and the finest fabrics across the world.
Raw silks are woven from Pure silk that are unprocessed have a nubby and rougher surface. The fibre used to make raw silk is shorter which contributes to its unique texture.
Adorned with bright zari weaving with black and matte gold stripes on the pallu, this rich blue and red raw silk with huge red, black and matte zari temples on bottom border along with subtle matte zari border on the upper side is a treasure to wear.. This exquisite saree is weaved by a master weaver in West Bengal.
