Khunn, otherwise known as Khana, is a beautiful, light-weight fabric that comes in combinations and innumerable designs, motifs, and patterns on the cloth. Khunn weave has a distinctive brocade pattern, much like the Banarasi. The weaving of khunn indeed is a painstaking process but one will surely be amazed by the rhythmic taps and clacks of the handloom which sound poetic and musical to ears.
The paithani narali border weaving technique along with the khunn body is complex, involving intricate details. Thus, it can take anywhere from between five to six days to create this masterpiece.
